While fans in Toronto await the eventual arrival of top prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr., other youngsters are getting the call for the Blue Jays.

Toronto has called up catcher Danny Jansen, while Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports that pitcher Sean Reid-Foley is also joining the Blue Jays from Triple-A and will start Monday in Kansas City.

Jansen is Toronto's No. 3 prospect behind Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette. The 23-year-old catcher has played well in the minors, as he's hitting .275/.390/.473 with 12 home runs, 21 doubles, and 58 RBIs in 88 games for Triple-A Buffalo.

Reid-Foley, 22, was selected in the second round of the 2014 entry draft by the Blue Jays. He's posted a combined 12-4 record and a 2.98 ERA across Double-A and Triple-A, and should aid Toronto's struggling rotation.

To make room for Jansen, the Blue Jays placed Yangervis Solarte on the 10-day disabled list with a right oblique injury.
