For Thursday evening's game between the Boston Red Sox and the reigning World Series champion Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park, Roger Clemens is slated to do color commentary in Boston's WEEI booth.

Clemens has made appearances in the booth before, but the seven-time Cy Young winner will work the entirety of the series opener.

Clemens, 55, has history with both teams. He made his debut with the Red Sox and played 13 seasons with the club. Over 382 games with Boston, Clemens won a trio of Cy Youngs and posted a 3.06 ERA and 2.94 FIP, throwing a remarkable 100 complete games.

Near the end of his career, Clemens spent a three-year stint in the Senior Circuit with the Astros, where he won his seventh and final Cy Young Award at age 41. Since then, the Astros have transitioned from the National League Central to the American League West.
