Outfielder Avisail Garcia won his arbitration hearing against the Chicago White Sox, the team announced Wednesday.

Garcia will earn $6.7 million this season, amounting to a raise of over $3 million from last year's salary. The White Sox had countered his request at $5.85 million.

The 26-year-old is coming off a breakout 2017 campaign with the White Sox that saw him hit .330/.380/.506 (137 OPS+) with 18 homers, 27 doubles, and 80 RBIs. Garcia earned his first career All-Star berth last summer as Chicago's lone representative in the game.

Garcia is the second player to defeat the White Sox in arbitration this winter, joining infielder Yolmer Sanchez.
