Watch: Swanson hits inside-the-park HR for 1st big-league blast
This isn't anything new for Dansby Swanson.
While a first major-league home run is a special moment for every player, Swanson wasn't able to enjoy his first trot around the bases, because he didn't get one.
In his first at-bat Tuesday against the Washington Nationals, the Atlanta Braves shortstop belted his first major-league homer, but instead of doing it the old fashioned way, he hustled around the bases for an inside-the-park one.
For Swanson, it was his first homer in 61 plate appearances in the bigs, but third of his professional career already.

Swanson's first minor-league home run was also an inside-the-park homer, back when he connected on April 21 for Class-A Carolina.
Then in July he did it again, legging out an inside-the-parker with Double-A Mississippi.
