The Texas Rangers played in Arlington on Thursday, but their hearts and minds were squarely down the road in Dallas.
With the city of Dallas in chaos after a horrific attack on police officers during a protest, the Rangers were quick to send good wishes back home.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of downtown Dallas.

Twelve police officers and two civilians were shot by snipers during a protest in downtown Dallas on Thursday night in the deadliest attack on U.S. law enforcement since Sept. 11, 2011. Five officers were killed, according to the Dallas Police Department, and three suspects are believed to be in police custody. Police said a fourth suspect was dead after an hours-long standoff with authorities in a Dallas parking garage. No other details about the shooting, including a possible motive, have been revealed.
Injured pitcher Yu Darvish also offered his prayers for the place he called his "hometown."
Pray for my hometown. #prayforDallas.
