Either Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Jean Segura isn't a fan of the dentist, or he was offended when a mascot nearly ran him over.
On Wednesday, the 26-year-old was almost trampled by a giant purple toothbrush in foul territory during a Colorado Rockies promotional mascot race.
As the toothbrush passed Segura, it just barely avoided a swipe from the Dominican.
The run-in certainly wasn't one the big leaguer envisioned when he woke up Wednesday morning, but should make for an interesting story to tell at parties.
