Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and club icon Cristiano Ronaldo were caught in an interesting exchange after the footballer had reportedly told German magazine Kicker that he would entertain leaving the club one day.
Ronaldo was quoted by Kicker as saying: "Leave Madrid one day? Why not ... I play for Real Madrid right now, but you never know."
After exchanging a friendly enough hello and a quick handshake, Perez asked Ronaldo what he had meant, to which the Portuguese, looking nervous, answered in Spanish: "What? No, I didn’t say that, I didn’t say that ... I said something different."
Perez then gave Ronaldo a quick smack to the cheek and all was well. For now.
