AC Milan reaches agreement with Sevilla over transfer of Carlos Bacca
Barring any unforeseen - and unlikely - issues, AC Milan will have a new striker leading its attack next season.
The club announced Thursday that a deal has been struck with Sevilla over the transfer of Carlos Bacca, and the Colombian's introduction at the San Siro is only pending the standard medical tests that accompany any transfer.
Though financial details were not disclosed, various reports during this protracted move have suggested that the Italian side will fork over €30 million for the 28-year-old attacker, who has helped Sevilla claim back-to-back Europa League titles over the past two seasons.
Though Milan's defense is still something of a shambles, adding Bacca to an attacking core that already includes the likes of Jeremy Menez and Stephan El Shaarawy is promising for a club that desperately needs an impressive season after last year's 10th-place debacle.
