As Hatem Ben Arfa goes, so too does Nice, as the reinvigorated and rediscovered French midfielder's renaissance continued Sunday during the South Coast side's visit to Stade Rennes.

The 28-year-old former Newcastle player streaked down the right flank before cutting in as quickly as he cut back, at once bemusing a confounded Sylvain Armand and giving himself enough space to fire a rocket with his right foot.

That's seven goals in nine matches for Ben Arfa, as Nice's victory vaulted the club above four teams and into fifth place with a game in hand.
