Hulkenberg finished 12th at the Canadian Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Sunday.
Analysis:
Hulkenberg began both the sprint and the traditional grand prix in 11th place, showing solid pace while narrowly beating out Gabriel Bortoleto on each occasion. However, Hulkenberg also had key mistakes, as he went off track on the first lap of the sprint, dropping him to 15th. He then had a penalty for speeding in the pit lane during the race, dooming his chance to tally points. He is one of five drivers that has yet to record a point this season.
