Ocon suffered a crash in FP1 for the Grand Prix of Canada Formula 1 race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Friday afternoon.
Analysis:
The Haas veteran would log a lap that was 13th fastest in shaking down his machine ahead of Sprint qualifying. However, Ocon would have a wicked snap and nose into the wall at one point mid-way into the session. The front wing would be heavily damaged and required replacement. Ocon would get back out on track after the repairs and continue on with the session after this minor setback.
