Max Verstappen will start on pole for Sunday's Miami Grand Prix, holding off the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

The result capped off a very productive day for Verstappen as he also took the checkered flag in the sprint race, earning eight points toward the drivers' standings.

The three-time defending world champion has continued his dominance over the rest of the grid so far this season, starting on pole for all six races and earning four wins.

Verstappen is only the fifth driver in F1 history to win pole position in at least seven straight races, joining Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher, and Lewis Hamilton.
