Amadou Diawara has been quick to make an impact at Bologna since his summer move from fourth-tier San Marino, and the 18-year-old's performances have attracted interest from Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea.
The Evening Standard reports that bids of £14.5 million from both clubs have been turned down by Bologna, with manager Roberto Donadoni reluctant to let go of one of the club's prized assets for such a paltry price. A bid more in the region of £36 million is touted as enough to secure the Guinean's signature.
The midfielder's style has been compared to four-time African Player of the Year Yaya Toure.
