Everton striker Romelu Lukaku cut Tottenham's lead in half with nine minutes to play in Sunday's clash at White Hart Lane, and in doing so, became the Toffees' all-time leading Premier League scorer with 61 goals.
The Belgian's 81st-minute tally, his first career goal against Spurs, was good enough to surpass Duncan Ferguson's club record. Aussie forward Tim Cahill is third on 56, with Kevin Campbell some distance away in fourth with 45.
Lukaku's 18th league finish of the campaign is now second best behind Harry Kane's 19, and gives the robust 23-year-old Anderlecht product a handsome 78 goals before his 24th birthday, fourth best in England's top flight behind Michael Owen (110), Robbie Fowler (106), Wayne Rooney (86), and one better than Cristiano Ronaldo's 77.

Despite the 3-2 defeat that sees Everton stuck in seventh on 44 points, five adrift of Manchester United, Lukaku's 18th goal matches his career-best tally from 2015-16, and with 11 matches to play, the 54-time capped international is likely to eclipse that mark by a healthy margin.
