Deontay Wilder has once again called out Tyson Fury on social media.

The "Bronze Bomber" appealed to Fury in a tweet Wednesday, asking the reigning WBC and lineal heavyweight champion to "be a man" and honor the rematch clause in their contract by fighting him for a third time.

It's the second time in just under two weeks that Wilder's made his push for Fury on Twitter. While his previous tweets to the "Gypsy King" were more combative, he took a more subdued approach in his pitch to Fury.

Wilder and Fury first fought to a controversial draw in 2018. They met again in February, where Fury handed Wilder his first career loss and took the belt with a seventh-round knockout victory.

Wilder exercised his rematch clause almost immediately after the loss, and a trilogy bout was scheduled for July shortly before the pandemic began. Last month, Fury backed out after organizers couldn't pin down a December date; he also claimed Wilder said he suffered an injury ahead of the original July date.

Wilder's camp has now taken the step of initiating mediation with Fury to try and enforce the third fight, sources told The Athletic's Mike Coppinger. The process, which will be presided over by a retired judge, is likely to begin later this week.

Fury is reportedly fighting Agit Kabayel on Dec. 5 in London. The status of Fury-Kabayel remains unclear ahead of the mediation with Wilder.
