What Ghanaian fans lack in numbers, they make up for in eccentrics. 

One fan decided to paint his face white and act crazy for the cameras prior to the start of Ghana's opening match against the United States on Monday.

It's possible this is some sort of elaborate curse. Judging by what happened to Portugal earlier in the day after Cristiano Ronaldo was cursed, the United States would be right to be wary.
