Erling Haaland brought home a unique souvenir after his World Cup participation in North America.

The Norwegian superstar, who put on a show this summer, went viral Monday after sharing a photo of himself leaving an airplane in his home country while carrying what appears to be a taxidermied raccoon clutching a liquor bottle.

The images looked AI-generated at first, but Haaland joined the fun to confirm his latest acquisition.

"It followed me home," he joked on social media.

Haaland helped Norway reach the quarterfinals during a historic run that included a triumph over five-time World Cup champion Brazil. England eliminated Norway last week. The Man City striker scored seven goals in five games at his first World Cup.

Norway fans also went viral, becoming one of the tournament's main storylines for their celebrations, including the "Viking Row."
