Some England players' choice of socks has put the country's FA in hot water.
FIFA fined the English FA £50,000 due to players wearing "unauthorised" socks at the World Cup, according to the BBC.
Football's world governing body says members of the Three Lions ignored previous warnings and "continued to display unauthorised commercial branding on equipment items before and during the quarter-final match between Sweden and England."
The garments, named "TRUsox," are worn over traditional long equipment socks, according to Ben Rumsby of The Telegraph. Stretched just above the ankle, they are designed to reduce loose movement of players' feet inside their shoes.
Jamie Vardy, Eric Dier, Raheem Sterling, and Dele Alli have all been spotted in the socks during games.
Sweden's FA was fined the same amount earlier in the tournament for a similar infraction.
