Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell secured her 21st consecutive game with at least 20 points Thursday during Indiana's 91-85 loss to the Dallas Wings.
The streak overtakes the previous record of 20 games previously held by A'ja Wilson between the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Mitchell sealed the milestone in the final seconds of Thursday's first half. She sprinted down the lane after receiving an inbound pass from Caitlin Clark and converted a layup that tied the game at 42 going into the break.

Mitchell finished with a game-high 37 points on 9-of-18 shooting - her second 37-point game in August, though both have come in losses. Fever forward Aliyah Boston had 14 points with nine rebounds and two steals, while star guard Clark added 10 points but shot 4-of-15 from the field.
Arike Ogunbowale led Dallas with 32 points. Jessica Shepard added 26 on 11-of-16 shooting with eight rebounds.
Mitchell hasn't failed to score 20 points in a regular-season game since June 20, when she finished with 16 in a loss to the Atlanta Dream. Wilson's own streak began late in the 2023 season and carried through the first 15 contests of 2024.
No one else in WNBA history has put up 20-plus points through more than 12 games in a single season.
The 30-year-old Mitchell is now averaging 27.6 points and shooting 50% from three on 7.1 attempts per game during her 21-game streak.
