The Toronto Tempo are acquiring forward Aneesah Morrow from the Connecticut Sun for the rights to center Maria Kliundikova and a second-round pick in 2028, the teams announced Friday.
The Tempo waived guard Tima Pouye in a corresponding move.
Morrow, 23, joins the expansion Tempo after averaging 8.9 points and 7.5 rebounds on 39.4% shooting across 61 games with Connecticut. The Sun selected the former three-time All-American out of LSU with the seventh overall pick in the 2025 draft.
Kliundikova has yet to make an appearance for the Tempo after being left unprotected by the Minnesota Lynx and selected 14th overall in the expansion draft last offseason.
The 28-year-old Russian has made 74 career appearances for the Los Angeles Sparks (2018-19) and Lynx (2025). She didn't appear in the WNBA from 2020-24, playing instead with Ekaterinburg in her homeland.
After a strong start to the campaign, the Tempo have plummeted to 12th in the standings on the heels of five straight defeats, including Thursday's season-worst 32-point loss at home to the Lynx.
The WNBA trade deadline is Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
