The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game draft took place Wednesday, with Hall of Famers Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon serving as honorary general managers in celebration of the league's 30th season.
Cooper and Weatherspoon drafted their teams from a pool of 22 All-Stars. Cooper won the coin toss and was assigned Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers, while Weatherspoon received Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Bueckers and Clark were automatically selected as the first picks after receiving the most fan votes.

Team Coop will be coached by Becky Hammon of the Las Vegas Aces, and Cheryl Reeve of the Minnesota Lynx will lead Team Spoon.
Both squads will compete for a $100,000 prize pool, with the proceeds benefiting two Chicago-based organizations dedicated to keeping girls involved in sports. The winning team will earn $70,000 for their charity, while the losing team will net $30,000.
The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game will take place at the United Center in Chicago on July 25.
