Reese returns vs. Storm after 7-game absence

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese was in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Seattle Storm after missing the last seven games due to a back injury.

Sky head coach Tyler Marsh told reporters pregame that Reese would be on a minutes restriction in her first appearance since July 29, according to Chicago State of Mind Sports.

Chicago went 1-6 with the two-time All-Star out of the lineup.

Reese was building on her solid rookie campaign prior to being sidelined, averaging 14.2 points, 12.6 boards, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals across 23 appearances this season.

Her 17 doubles-doubles are tied for the league lead with Alyssa Thomas.

The Sky are scoring 6.9 more points per 100 possessions with Reese on the floor this season.
