Bueckers 'good to go' vs. Mercury after 4-game absence
Dallas Wings head coach Chris Koclanes says Paige Bueckers is "good to go" for Wednesday's matchup against the Phoenix Mercury after missing the past four games due to concussion protocols and illness, according to ClutchPoints' Joey Mistretta.
Koclanes added that Bueckers won't be on a minutes restriction in her first appearance since May 29. The Wings went 0-4 with the rookie guard sidelined.
The No. 1 overall pick in this year's WNBA draft was off to a solid start, averaging 14.7 points, 6.7 assists, 4.5 boards, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks through her first six appearances.
Dallas has a plus-9.4 net rating with Bueckers on the floor.
Meanwhile, the Wings ruled out backup guard Ty Harris for the remainder of the campaign.
Harris also missed the last four games before undergoing season-ending knee surgery. She averaged 4.6 points and 2.6 assists in 16.4 minutes across five appearances.
Harris is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
