Iowa State star Crooks entering transfer portal
Iowa State star Audi Crooks is seeking a new home.
The AP second-team All-American center is entering the transfer portal, Crooks announced Thursday.
Crooks, 21, was the nation's second-leading scorer this season, averaging 25.8 points on 64.9% shooting across 31 appearances for the Cyclones. Those are impressive returns considering she played 28.8 minutes per game, six minutes fewer than Vanderbilt's Makayla Blakes, who led Division I in scoring with 27 points per game.
The 6-foot-3 junior has spent the last three seasons at Iowa State, earning an All-Big 12 first-team nod on three occasions. She holds the records for most points in a game (47) and points in a season (820) in program history.
Crooks has one year of eligibility remaining.
She joins fellow starters Addy Brown, Mackenzie Hare, and Jada Williams in entering the portal.
Iowa State went 22-10 in 2025-26 and were eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by Syracuse.
