Charlotte FC fleshed out their roster for their inaugural MLS season with five players in Tuesday's expansion draft.

They then traded away two of their picks.

Young forward McKinze Gaines was plucked from Austin FC, defender Anton Walkes joined from Atlanta United, Costa Rican full-back Joseph Mora arrives from D.C. United, Tristan Blackmon was nabbed from Los Angeles FC, and Ismael Tajouri-Shradi was taken from MLS Cup champions New York City FC.

Blackmon and Tajouri-Shradi were immediately sent to the Vancouver Whitecaps and LAFC, respectively, in exchange for general allocation money.

Charlotte FC also signed Jaylin Lindsey from Sporting Kansas City and Pablo Sisniega from Los Angeles FC on Sunday. They then added Vinicius Mello from Brazilian side Interacional a day later.

Christian Fuchs, a Premier League winner with Leicester City in 2016, is arguably the most recognizable name in Charlotte's squad.
