Kante insists he's focused on Leicester amid links to Juventus
It was just a matter of time before N'Golo Kante attracted the attention of Europe's biggest clubs after his impressive contributions on the pitch with Leicester City.
Kante, who's currently on international duty following his first call up to the French national team, is becoming a regular feature in the daily rumour mill, with a report in the Mirror suggesting Italian champion Juventus could be lining up a move for the 24-year-old.
However, the midfielder insists he's focused on the task at hand with Leicester and continuing to grow in the Premier League as his team attempts to capture its first top-flight title.
"I'm only focused on Leicester. We have a season to finish, otherwise I haven't heard anything," Kante told reporters.
"As long as a club doesn't approach me directly, I don't pay too much attention to the rumours. The Premier League is a competition that suits me, which is perhaps more praise to myself.
"It's more direct, more rhythmic than Ligue 1. My team also gives me value. My team defends very well, it works hard not to concede goals, and everyone in the team defends."
Kante has been instrumental in Leicester's rapid rise up the table after appearing in all but one of the team's 31 matches, scoring one goal while providing three assists.
