Como moved to the top of the Serie A table as Senegalese youngster Assane Diao scored twice in a come-from-behind 4-1 win at Genoa on Friday.

Cesc Fabregas's side, who finished fourth last season to qualify for the Champions League for the first time, have seven points from three matches.

Como have not played a home game yet this term due to renovation work on their Stadio Guiseppe Sinigaglia.

Genoa took the lead in the 19th minute as Milutin Osmajic finished off a quick counter-attack by thumping in Lorenzo Colombo's low cross.

Como levelled six minutes later as Martin Baturina drilled a long-range shot into the bottom corner, before Diao volleyed them in front on the half-hour mark.

Nico Paz made it three goals for the visitors in 15 minutes as he latched onto a ball in behind from Yan Couto and lashed a shot into the roof of the net for his first goal of the campaign.

The 20-year-old Diao completed the scoring with 12 minutes remaining by slotting into the corner after brilliant hold-up play from Moise Kean on his debut after signing on loan from Fiorentina on deadline day.
