Norwich City goalkeeper Steve Kean has moved to Colchester United on a 28-day loan.
The 24-year-old joined the Canaries in the summer after his contract at Blackburn Rovers expired, and is poised to make his first league appearance since 2014 Saturday against Charlton Athletic.
He is a like-for-like replacement for shot stopper Jamie Jones, who returned to Preston North End after his loan spell expired in December.
