Roma confirms Totti suffered hip flexor strain in Saturday's match vs. Carpi
Francesco Totti suffered a hip flexor strain as he helped Roma score one of its five goals on Saturday against Carpi, the club confirmed in a statement.
Totti came on as a substitute for Edin Dzeko, who twisted his knee in the first half. But the 38-year-old captain only lasted a further 10 minutes.

He did manage to set up Roma's fourth goal, shooting on net and creating a rebound for teammate Mohamed Salah to convert. But Totti was tackled from behind in the process.
Roma will complete tests within the next 48 hours to determine the extent of the injury.
Totti has struggled to cement a spot in the starting XI this year, despite scoring his 300th goal for Roma against Sassuolo last weekend.
