One of Inter Milan's most iconic players is returning to the San Siro.
On Saturday, Inter announced that Dejan Stankovic - who made 326 competitive appearances for the club and was a key figure in the 2009-10 squad that claimed the Treble under Jose Mourinho - is returning in the role of First Team Club Manager.

Stankovic will be a member of manager Roberto Mancini's backroom staff and will work in close contact with the club's management team assisting in relations with first-team players on and off the pitch.
"I am honoured to be coming back to Inter," Stankovic said. "I am thrilled and excited because I've always said these colours will remain on my skin forever. I cried the day I realised I wouldn't be pulling on the Nerrazzurri shirt anymore. I'm back here now, with a sense of pride and determination, to do my best for the club in a different role."
Javier Zanetti, who formed a lethal partnership in midfield with Stankovic and is now Inter's vice-president, was quick to welcome back his former partner in crime.
