AC Milan outlasted Parma in a thrilling match on Sunday evening, coming away with a 5-4 victory that saw a little bit of everything.
A penalty, two red cards, a goalkeeper watching on in horror as a back-pass eludes him and trickles into the net (while injuring himself on the play) and Nigel De Jong somehow getting a breakaway from the halfway line.
But amongst all the madness, it was Jeremy Menez who stole the show. The French attacker netted twice in the match, including this remarkable backheel goal that was the essence of improvisation.
It also proved to be the winning goal in what was a thoroughly enjoyable contest - unless you prefer a good defensive showdown, of course.
