Allegri 'very angry' with Pjanic after Juventus' win at Monaco
Massimiliano Allegri once said "football is happiness," but the Italian manager isn't immune to irritation.
Speaking after Juventus dismantled AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II, Allegri admitted to being displeased about Miralem Pjanic's reactions to misplaced passes.
"I am very angry with Pjanic, because he can become one of the three best midfielders in the world, but every now and then when he gets a wrong pass, he acts like it's the end of the world," Allegri said, according to ESPN FC's Ian Holyman. "He needs to stay calm and relax, because his potential is only partially expressed. The lads are having a great season, in order to make it extraordinary we need to be calm and focused."
The Bosnian controller completed more passes than any other player as Juventus beat Monaco 2-0 in the Champions League's semi-finals. The second leg goes on Tuesday at Juventus Stadium.
