Sampdoria signs right-back Bereszynski from Legia Warsaw

Sampdoria has bolstered its options at right-back with the signing of Poland international Bartosz Bereszynski from Legia Warsaw.

The 24-year-old Lech Poznan academy product has been handed the No. 24 shirt and joins for a fee Football Italia understands to be in the region of €2 million.

Bereszynski will offer immediate competition to Jacopo Sala, the incumbent first-choice right-back who has put in adequate performances, but has been sidelined for seven matches this term.

Sampdoria returns after the winter break with a tough trip to Napoli on Saturday.
