Diamanti back in Italy after signing with Palermo

Rome - Italy international midfielder Alessandro Diamanti has signed a two-year deal with Palermo, with an option for a third, the Sicilian club announced Monday.
Diamanti, capped 17 times by Italy, was a free agent after his contract with Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande expired.
The 33-year-old previously played for Livorno, Brescia and Bologna, as well as West Ham and Watford in the English Premier League.
