Lyon denies Napoli deal for Tolisso
Reigning Ligue 1 runner-up Lyon is on the defensive Tuesday after Les Gones denied that a deal was in place to ship midfielder Corentin Tolisso to Napoli.
Reports surfaced last week that the 21-year-old French youth international was poised for a move to the Neopolitans during the summer window, though Lyon has been quick to dispel such speculation.

The tweeted admission comes just hours after Lyon conceded that it had rejected a €35-million bid for striker Alexandre Lacazette from Arsenal with an official statement released on the club's Twitter account.

One of the latest talents to emerge from Lyon's decorated academy, Tolisso impressed last season under Bruno Genesio. Playing in multiple central midfield roles, Tolisso appeared in 33 matches, pairing five goals with six assists.
