The Marlins transferred Luzardo (back) to the 60-day injured list Sunday.
Analysis:
Manager Skip Schumaker said Saturday that Luzardo would likely be out for 4-to-6 weeks as a result of his lumbar stress reaction, but his move to the 60-day IL will now keep him out until at least August 18. He will be joined on the 60-day list by Edward Cabrera (shoulder), and the Marlins will bring up Kyle Tyler and Kent Emanuel from Triple-A to fill the open 40-man roster spots.
