Bryson DeChambeau is coming off an eventful 24 hours.

The World's No. 5-ranked golfer flew home to Dallas on Friday for a workout, thinking he had missed the cut at the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte. He had just carded a 74 and was way down the leaderboard at 2-over.

But when DeChambeau landed, he learned he had, in fact, made the cut. Windy conditions made scoring tough on Friday afternoon at Quail Hollow, and the cut line ended up at 2-over.

So, the 27-year-old boarded a flight back to Charlotte at 2:45 a.m. ET to make his 8:10 a.m. tee time Saturday.

Dallas-Charlotte is about a two-and-a-half-hour flight.
