Tiger Woods will open up his 2019 season at a familiar event.
Woods officially signed up for the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines on Wednesday morning, according to Golf Channel's Ryan Lavner.
The 43-year-old has won the event seven times in 17 career appearances but hasn't finished better than 23rd in his last four tries.
For the first time in a while, Woods will open the year with a clean bill of health and momentum from the previous season, having won the Tour Championship last September.
The Farmers Insurance Open will take place Jan. 24-27 in San Diego, Calif., as part of the PGA Tour's West Coast swing.
