Actress Paula Patton wants to portray Tiger in a biopic
Paula Patton hopes one of her next movie roles will be playing Tiger Woods in a biopic about his life.
The actress, whose past credits include "Precious" and "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," told Nadine Matthews of Shadow and Act that she sees no issue with a woman portraying the golfer.
"I don't see why a woman can’t play a man and I think that he's an interesting character," Patton said. "Back when he was in his prime, obviously he had his demons. He was a conflicted person. He was great at some things and yet he had these flaws. He must have had to put on quite a facade and was probably hiding a lot of pain. Characters like that are very interesting to play."
Woods was the subject of the 1998 television film "The Tiger Woods Story," which was directed by LeVar Burton and starred Keith David and Khalil Kain.
