Tortorella suffers 2 broken ribs in collision at Blue Jackets practice

The Columbus Blue Jackets will likely be without their head coach for Saturday's game against the Boston Bruins.
John Tortorella suffered two broken ribs following a collision with forward Rene Bourque during Friday's practice.
Tortorella did not travel to Boston with the team, and it's unlikely he will coach tomorrow's game vs. the Bruins. #CBJ

Bourque flattened Tortorella in what Shawn Mitchell of the Columbus Dispatch described as a "nasty collision."

He left practice and did not return, but was not admitted to hospital.
