Cody Hodgson's career has hit another big bump in the road after the 25-year-old was placed on waivers by the Nashville Predators
Signed to a one-year, $1.05-million contract in the offseason, Hodgson appeared in 39 games, recording three goals and eight assists.

He joined the Predators after his six-year, $25.5-million deal was bought out by the Buffalo Sabres.
Hodgson became expendable following the acquisition of Ryan Johansen, which further solidified the team's center ranks.
