Kris Letang has been one of many Pittsburgh Penguins struggling to find the back of the net this season, with his only tally coming on Oct. 13.
He broke out of the slump Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings on the power play, sniping one past Petr Mrazek after patiently skating into the slot.

The goal tied the game at two and was the Penguins' second marker with the man advantage on the night, with Patric Hornqvist opening the scoring less than a minute into the second period.
