The Detroit Red Wings will welcome a regular staple back to their blueline when they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.
Defenseman Jonathan Ericsson will return to the lineup Thursday after missing five games with an upper-body injury. With Ericcson reprising his role on the back end, defenseman Jakub Kindl will draw out.
The Red Wings have dropped three of five games during Ericsson's absence.
