The Florida Panthers continue to play the waiting game with injured forward Nick Bjugstad, who's out indefinitely with an upper-body injury, according to George Richards of the Miami Herald.
The 23-year-old, who hasn't played since Nov. 29 due to the undisclosed issue, has already been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Washington Capitals, and won't travel Saturday versus the Boston Bruins.
Head coach Gerard Gallant hopes Bjugstad can join the team sometime next week, but admits "(team doctors) haven't been telling me a whole lot."
Bjugstad has seven goals, five assists, and 55 shots in 23 games this season.
