Edmonton Oilers goalie Cam Talbot is bringing Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, and Paul Coffey back to the ice in Alberta with a new mask design honoring the legends from the team's Stanley Cup-winning days in the eighties.
Artist Dave Gunnarsson posted the new design to Facebook on Thursday, explaining that every Oiler whose jersey is retired by the team is featured on the mask.
And, of course, the design features a number of ghosts, continuing Talbot's own tradition of honoring "Ghostbusters" on his masks.
The mask will be worn when the team plays in their orange alternate jerseys.
