New York Islanders defenseman Adam Pelech will play his first NHL game Friday night against the Anaheim Ducks.
Pelech will make his debut after being recalled by the Islanders from the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers earlier this week. The Islanders' 2012 third-round pick had two goals and two assists in 14 AHL games this season.
Marek Zidlicky, who has five points in 16 contests, will sit out for the second time in 2015-16.
