Dallas Stars goalie Antti Niemi was having a relaxing time in the first period against the Vancouver Canucks, not facing a single shot for almost 12 minutes.
But just moments after Niemi faced his first shot, Alex Burrows was awarded a penalty shot after being hooked on a breakaway. The veteran forward made no mistake with his opportunity, sliding the puck between Niemi's pads and into the back of the net to give his side a 1-0 lead.

It was Burrows' first career penalty shot goal, entering Thursday's action goalless in four previous attempts.
