Just when you didn't think this season could get any worse for the Anaheim Ducks, it does.

Anaheim blew a three-goal lead to the Dallas Stars on Thursday, being outshot 17-2 in the third period. The decisive blow was a late go-ahead goal by Antoine Roussel.

Anaheim came out absolutely flying, jumping out to a 3-0 lead with three first-period goals by Mike Santorelli, Shawn Horcoff, and Carl Hagelin. However, the team fell completely flat the rest of the way

The Stars rebounded quickly with a three-goal frame of their own in the second period. Patrick Sharp scored his first goal as a member of the Stars, while Cody Eakin and John Klingberg also put the puck in the net.

Antti Niemi made 17 saves in the win as the Stars improved to 7-2-0. On the other end, Frederik Andersen was solid yet again, making 30 saves in a losing effort.

The Ducks now sit at a disastrous 1-6-2, recording a shocking nine goals in nine games. They'll look to get back on track Thursday against the St. Louis Blues.
