PHOTO: 2014-15 Blackhawks engraved on Stanley Cup
After a summer touring around with the greatest trophy in sports, the 2014-15 Chicago Blackhawks officially have their names on the Stanley Cup.
Philip Pritchard, the keeper of the Cup, took to Twitter on Sunday to show off the freshly engraved hardware.

Names that stand out include the recently retired Kimmo Timonen and Dan Carcillo, as well as Patrick Sharp, Brandon Saad, and Kris Versteeg, all of whom were traded over the summer.
The exceptions made to allow for the additions of Carcillo and Joakim Nordstrom - both of whom did not meet the initial criteria for inclusion - bumped late assistant equipment manager Clint Reif off the Cup. He will, however, be honored by the team.
Clint's family WILL receive a Stanley Cup ring at the official team ceremony when the players and staff receive their rings. #Blackhawks

The Blackhawks will begin their defense of the Cup on Oct. 7.
