Report: Predators' Stalberg placed on unconditional waivers

The Nashville Predators are waiving goodbye to Viktor Stalberg.
The 29-year-old winger has been placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of having his contract bought out by the team, according to multiple reports.
Stalberg signed a four-year, $12-million contract with the Predators last summer, and split an injury-plagued season between the NHL and the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals.
In 338 career NHL games, Stalberg has 62 goals and 70 assists.
